What’s on the ballot?

What you need to know:

On May 21, 2024, there will be a general primary and non-partisan election for several county, state, and federal offices. In a primary election, voters choose their preferred candidate from within their own political party to represent that party in the general election. When you vote, you’ll be asked if you want a Democratic, Republican, or Nonpartisan ballot. You are free to choose whichever ballot you want. All ballots will include non-partisan races.

To see what’s on your ballot, visit mvp.sos.ga.gov. After entering your information, you will see your personal voting information. Click the button that says "View My Sample Ballot.”

While what is on your ballot depends on where you live in the City of Atlanta, all Atlanta voters will vote whether to renew the Municipal Option Sales Tax (MOST), a 1% sales and use tax that supports funding for water and sewer expansion projects, system maintenance, and operations of the Department of Watershed Management.
